Generic lists disagree with each other, and your own tolerance is what counts. Mark each food as one you tolerate, avoid or are still testing, then print the list or save it as a PDF for the fridge or your dietitian. Your list is kept in this browser only; there is no account.
"Start from our ratings" marks foods rated 2–3 as avoid, disputed foods rated 0–1 as testing, and the rest as tolerate. It is a starting point to edit, not advice for you.
A 2021 review compared ten published low-histamine diets and found they agree on only a handful of foods, such as aged cheese, fermented sausages, wine and beer. For most other foods the lists split, and only about a third of excluded foods could be justified by their measured histamine. That is why we show the sources for every rating and let you keep your own list. Low-histamine diets are usually done in phases with a dietitian: a strict phase, then foods are added back one at a time. Use the "testing" column for foods you are reintroducing.
